About the course
The thesis is the culmination of the program: an independent research or engineering project that makes an original contribution to the field of AI. The student works under the guidance of a thesis advisor (faculty or industry mentor) and defends the thesis before a committee. The expected outcome is work meeting the standard of a workshop paper or above at a NeurIPS/ICML/ACL/CVPR-level conference.
